I love having an organized routine to start my day. Having some type of structure right when you wake up helps you have a better start of your day. You make some time for yourself, and it’s so much more efficient. I also love to read about other bloggers’ morning routines. I thought that I might do the same and share mine.
I love waking up early and take advantage of the morning. I am more of a morning person than a night one so, waking up early works best for me. I wake up at 5:30 am every single day. As soon as I wake up, I brush my teeth. When you’re sleeping, your body naturally releases toxins in your sleep through your mouth. It is essential to brush your teeth to get rid of all those leftover toxins.
I have recently started adding meditation into my morning. Taking 10 to15 minutes to mediate is an amazing way to give yourself time to set your intentions and let go of what you don’t need in your life. It’s an amazing way to start and even add some more energy into your day.
Right after, I will start my workout. I have recently gotten into doing Pilates and yoga every morning. I used to go to the gym every single morning but I decided to change it up to try something new and for me. Pilates and yoga have been so much better on my body and I have been seeing some amazing results. It’s a more peaceful way to start your day. I workout for 45 to 60 minutes and after I am done I will stretch for 10-15 minutes. When I’m stretching, I will listen to some of my favorite music or a podcast. Anything that adds some value into my day or boosts my mood!
Right after my workout, I will take a shower, wash my face, and go into a very basic skincare routine. Usually, I will use a vitamin c product, a moisturizer, some type of oil, and a mineral-based sunscreen. If I am not planning to go out that day or, I feel like my skin needs a bit more attention, then I will take some time to do a facemask.
Once my skin set and glowing, I will go have breakfast to start my day. Sometimes my day consists of sitting down and getting some work done. On other days, it will consist of running errands all day. The whole morning consists of start off the day right with doing things that bring me some type of benefit and value. For me, these first few hours of the day are when I take time for myself. I take a bit of time to forget about the emails I need to read and the work I need to get done. Its all about doing something for yourself you know?
All the love,
